A memorial page in rememberance of Samantha Price-I didn't know her personally but she's from the
same town as me and I believe she should be remembered.

A 21-year-old Shropshire woman, who collapsed in a club on holiday, died of a blood clot in her
lung, her mother said today.Samantha Price, of Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury, died on September 15 on
the Greek island of Zakynthos, where she was on holiday with three friends.

Her family originally suspected she died of an asthma attack, as she had suffered with the condition
since she was a child.

But today her mother, Susan Minor, also of Shrewsbury, said she had been told her daughter died of a
pulmonary embolism.

A coroner’s officer in Shrewsbury today said there would not be an inquest because Samantha died
of natural causes.

Samantha’s funeral will be held on Tuesday at Shrewsbury Crematorium.

Tributes poured in for Samantha when she died and her friends have set up a tribute to her on social
networking site Facebook.

Samantha worked as a sales executive at Tanner Stiles Publishing Ltd in Telford and had worked at
the Shropshire Star.

The boyfriend of a Shropshire woman who died after suffering a suspected asthma attack while on
holiday today paid tribute to his “loving” girlfriend.Terry Proxton, 26, of Frankwell,
Shrewsbury, said he was devastated by the news that Samantha Price, 21, of Monkmoor Road, had died
after collapsing in a club on the Greek island of Zakynthos on Monday.

He said it had been an honour to be Samantha’s boyfriend. The pair had been dating for about four
months and had met about a year ago when they worked together.

“My Sam, such a caring giving person that filled my last four months with so many wonderful
memories that will live with me forever. She was very happy, outgoing and generous and very
loving,” he said.

“For four months we more or less did everything together and I have such good memories,” he
added.

In a tribute, which Mr Proxton, who works for a marketing company, posted on the Shropshire Star’s
website, he said: “I didn’t realise how much you touched my family or our friends, but it is
very clear now.

“The one person I need to give me a hug and tell me we will all be okay is you hun. It was, is, an
honour to be your boyfriend.”
